What is Aussie Taiso?

Aussie Taiso is a gentle exercise program set to music. It is based on a traditional Japanese exercise program involving dynamic stretching in a group - moving while stretching challenges your balance and co-ordination.

Aussie Taiso is designed to move every muscle in your body and will improve circulation to all parts of your body. Aussie Taiso is especially good for older Australians because it is gentle and can be done seated or standing.

Watch the video for an introduction on the technique.

Taiso is Japanese word that means "exercises" or "calisthenics".
